OUR IMPACT
School garden programs work! Learn more about how HFHK is creating a proven healthier future for todayâs kids. We love watching students grow in their understanding of gardening science as well as their love of vegetables.
OUR SCHOOL GARDEN PROGRAM
Our program is specifically designed to fit into the academic year and promote student health. HFHKâs Education Cultivation program provides hands-on gardening activities through lessons that support Delaware State learning standards. Students experience âseed to tableâ growing each spring AND fall and EAT fresh vegetables theyâve grown in their cafeterias.
